short Fiction Contest FOR iSSUE 8

Do your fiction writing efforts go unacknowledged? Do the grueling hours you spend laboring never pay off? Of course they don’t, that’s why you’re here you FLESHY HEADED loser! Confused about what “fleshy headed” means? We’re in the same boat, and maybe that’s the point of this contest. We want to see who can write the best piece of short fiction (1,000 words MAX) using the the phrase “fleshy headed” somewhere in the piece. The odds of winning are small, but if you do win you’ll be awarded the prize of creating the phrase (7 words MAX) that will become the prompt for the Issue 9 contest. Lucky you! We hope that your ability to write a quality short story means you will be competent enough to create an adequate prompt. We are the judges and so we are justly biased.
